Whether you’re into tennis, pickleball (all the rage right now), or basketball, there are courts on the island, and people to play with.
Tom White Park
Tom White Park is where the Old One-Room School House is located, about halfway down the island on the main road. The park is open to the public and has one court set up for tennis, pickleball, or basketball.
On the Lake Josephine side of the park–near the parking lot and playground–there are two tennis courts that also have lines for pickleball. If you like hit alone to practice your stroke, there’s a backboard.
If you’re looking for others to play with, there’s a group that meets here from 9am-11am on Tuesdays and Fridays (membership in the Riviera Community Club not required).
