Ferry Update – 7/3/25

Good news! 2 ferries are running 12:30pm to 6:10pm all weekend long, from Thursday 7/3 to Monday, 7/7. Which is good news because the Annual Salmon & Rib Bake put on by the Anderson Island Historical Society is at the Old Johnson Farm on Saturday, 7/5 from 12pm to 3pm, with a silent auction in the Archive Building from 11am to 2pm.

Ferry Update – 5/31/25

Everyone was a little frustrated today because they weren’t running 2 ferries. I don’t know why they weren’t. But, thankfully, there WILL be 2 ferries on Sunday, June 1st. And there should continue to be 2 ferries on Fridays and Sundays until Sept. 1. Then they will add Mondays from July 7 to Sept. 1. Extra runs are also scheduled for the following days: May 24 and 26July 3 and 5August 28 and 30

Tanner Electric 2025 Annual Meeting

On Saturday, May 17, Tanner Electric is having their annual membership meeting at the Anderson Island Historical Archival Building (11am to 1pm). This seems like a good time to hear about why our power bills are so high! But also, why our power has been staying on despite some pretty gnarly windstorms. AIHS Potluck & Program – The Tahoma
